Professor Ochefu is currently the Secretary General, Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU) and entrepreneur. He holds a B.A Honours degree and Ph.D. in History and Economic History from the University of Calabar. He also holds an M.A degree in Economic History and Political Economy from the University of Birmingham He possesses over 35 years of experience as an academic, researcher, and social entrepreneur. He has taught at the Universities of Calabar, Benue State University, Kogi State University, and Nigeria Defense Academy between 1985 and 2019. He was Director of Consultancy Services, Dean of Students, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the Benue State University from 2002 to 2005. From 2012 to 2017, he was Vice-Chancellor of Kwararafa University, Wukari in Taraba State. In 2019 appointed Secretary-General of the Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, and Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Nigerian Federal Universities.

He is a Fellow and former National President of the Historical Society of Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Letters. He is currently the National President, the University of Calabar Alumni Association Worldwide. He has at various times, consulted for the World Bank, UNDP, DFID, and International Republican Institute on Social, economic, and political issues. As an Information and Communications Consultant, he has been an IT team leader for the development of transaction portals for numerous institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, and Uganda. As a part-time entrepreneur, he has promoted a number of businesses in Information Technology, Publishing, Renewable Energy, and Waste-to-Wealth and seats on the Board of a number of companies and non-governmental organizations.

Ms. Sylverina D. Olaghere

Biography:

Ms. Olaghere is currently the Senior Assistant Secretary on Projects and Programmes at the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU) and the Nigeria Country Officer for the Association of African Universities (AAU) and the liaison officer for the Build for Nigeria Affordable housing projects for students and people living in slums in Nigeria. Sylverina D. Olaghere is a project Management professional who is Internationally certified as a practitioner for Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE 2). She is a graduate of International Relations from Obafemi Owolowo University (OAU, ile-Ife). She holds a Master’s Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Strategic Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy. 

She is also a Capacity Development Expert and continuously organizes training and workshops in various relevant areas for quality improvement in the leadership of the Nigerian Higher Education system. Through her work with the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, she has worked on projects in partnership/collaborations with leading Universities in the world, governmental and non-governmental organizations such as TrustAfrica, Nigerian Nation Universities Commission, Association of African Universities (AAU), International Group of Education Transfer (IGET), Universities Uk International to mention a few. Dr Felicia Alu Moh

Biography:

Felicia Alu Moh obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English/Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master’s Degree from Imo State University. She also has a Ph.D in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar.  She lectured for over fourteen years at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt.

She took a break from academics to work with British Council Nigeria as the English Language Projects Manager. At the British Council, she designed and implemented several Continuing Professional Development Courses for English teachers transmitted by direct training, radio and Computer Assisted Learning nationwide.

For over ten years, Felicia Alu Moh worked as the Country Representative for Discovery Learning Alliance, an American NGO committed to taking technology, training and programming to under-resourced classrooms across Nigeria.

She is the author and co-author of many books and several academic articles published in peer-rated journals. She is also a speaker and trainer in local and international conferences. She has written three full-length novels. She’s a member of several professional associations. In teaching and in research, she’s interested in women studies, literacy and the promotion of a reading culture.

 

Dr Francis O. Atanu

Biography:

Dr Francis O. Atanu is the Director for Research and Innovation in Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. He was appointed to the position in 2022 after serving as Deputy Director for Research and Innovation since 2020. He oversees all aspects of Research across Faculties of the University.

He received his PhD from the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 2014. Dr Atanu is a Lecturer/Scientist in the Department of Biochemistry. His research interests include Molecular Biology/Toxicology, Phytomedicine and Bioinformatics. He has co-authored over forty publications in reputable peer reviewed Journals emanating from National and International collaborations. He has 15 years teaching and research experience at the University level. Within this time he has taught and supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Professor Faith Aladi Sale

Biography:

Faith Aladi Sale was born on 23rd September, 1975 in Emenega Ate-Ogugu, Olamaboro Local Government Area, Kogi State, Nigeria. She attended Primary and Secondary School in Ogugu. After completing her primary and Secondary Education, she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Forestry from University of Agriculture Makurdi 1998 and Ph.D in the field of Agroforestry and Silvicuture from Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2009 respectively. Her dedication and hard work paid off as she rose steadily from Graduate Assistant in 2002 to a Professor of Agroforestry and Silvicuture in 2018 in Kogi State University, Anyigba. Faith is an active member of several professional bodies, including Forestry Association of Nigeria and Royal Forestry Society of England, among others. She has contributed enormously to the growth and development in the field of Forestry through her research, publications, and presentations at various conferences nationally and internationally. Despite her achievements, Faith remains committed to giving back to her community. She involved herself in various community development projects and works tirelessly to promote environmental sustainability and conservation.

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. I joined the services of the University in 2009 as a Graduate Assistant.

 

I began my undergraduate education at Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria and graduated with a First Class Honour in Political Science in 2007.

 

I am an alumnus of the prestigious University of Leeds, United Kingdom, where I obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Global Development in 2012.

 

I got a PhD in Political Science (Political Economy) from the famous University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), in 2022.

 

I have published over 25 scholarly articles in local and international peer-reviewed journals and attended several conferences, workshops and trainings.

 

My research interests include but are not limited to democracy, development, political corruption, gender and development, globalisation, and international political economy.

My name is Meriyamoh Mero Onimisi (Nee Jimoh), a Nigerian born in 1969. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Master of Science degree in Zoology (Fisheries and Hydrobiology option) from the University of Ibadan in 1992 and 1995 respectively. In 2016, I obtained a PhD degree in Zoology (Fisheries and Hydrobiology option) from Kogi State University. Anyigba, Nigeria. I’m currently a Senior Lecturer with Prince Abubakar Audu University and a Head of the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture. Dr Grace Foluke Balogun

Dr. Grace Foluke Balogun was born in a town called Mopa in Mopamuro LGA in the western senatorial district of Kogi State, Nigeria.

My name is Agbana, Olubunmi Funmilayo. A senior lecturer with the Department of Mass Communication with over 12 years of work experience. During g those times I have served as Adviser and Examination Officer with the department, among other responsibilities.

 

I hold a Ph. D. from the University of Nigeria and a Masters as well as a Bachelor degree all in the field of Mass Communication. My secondary education was at the University of Jos, Demonstration Secondary School Jos.

 

I am particularly interested in research areas of development Communication as well as Health Communication with a keen interest in women’s health. As a branch of Communication, film, and broadcasting is my field of interest. Many of my research publications are in these areas.

 

Professionally, I have a membership with (ACCE), African Council for Communication Education and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). The National Association of Women Academic (NAWAC), and the Society for peace studies and Practice (SPSP) are also professional bodies where I am a member.

Dr. Onoja – Alexander, Mary Ojonema, Fellow of the WACP has an advanced degree in public health (MPH) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a female Medical Doctor (MBBS), with over 22 years of professional experience of which 17 years are in research work.  She is also a Consultant Community Health Physician and investigator of over 20 years. A lecturer per excellence, facilitator, committed health practitioner, evaluator, manager, developer, program/project designer and expert in family planning and protection services for women and children.

An expert in the provision of technical assistance in areas of SRHR, community TB management, HIV/AIDS, IPC, PMCT, Orphan and vulnerable children, Maternal and child care, and Family Medicine and has been involved in a series of designing public health interventions for improving SRHR by strengthening adolescent access to SRHR, Improving the life of women through family Planning, TB Case finding, diagnosis, treatment and Surveillance, IPC and Malaria prevention in communities in Kano, Jigawa, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Benue and Kogi States, Nigeria.

Biography:

Chinwe Anthonia Muodumogu PhD, is Professor of English Language/Education at the Benue State University, Makurdi. She teaches Language methodology courses with emphasis on literacy skills and content area reading strategies from Undergraduate to PhD level. Chinwe has supervised 18 PhD and 58 Master’s degree theses.

Chinwe has over 50 journal articles and is a co-author of a book. She is Editor-in-chief of two professional journals, a member of the Editorial Board of three other professional journals. She was President – Elect (2008 – 2010) and President, Reading Association of Nigeria (2010 – 2012).

She is a member of the International Development Committee in Africa (IDC – A); a committee of the International Literacy Association and the chairperson, 2014 to 2016. As the Chair, she inaugurated the Reading Association of Liberia in 2014 and was a member of the Global Taskforce on

Restructuring of ILA in Frankfurt Germany, 2016.  She has assessed lecturers for promotion to chief lecturer, Reader and Professorial rank.

Professor Muodumogu was the Director, Centre for Gender Studies, Benue State University, Makurdi 2017 to 2022. She received grants for and conducted two gender based researches from Tetfund research grant. She is the Academic Team Leader of Benue State Jolly Phonics Programme.

Prof. Comfort Ebere Mbachu

Prof. Comfort Ebere Mbachu is a Seasoned Academia. She is a professor of Curriculum Studies with English Language Education Background.

Dr Onimisi, Abu Martins

I was born on 5th January, 1965. I obtained B.Sc. degree in Geology and M.Sc. degree in Mineral Exploration (Geophysics option) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr Roseline Oshewolo

Biography:

Roseline Oshewolo holds a PhD Degree in History and International Studies with specialization in Gender, Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and currently lectures at the Department of History and International Studies, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria.

 

She has been a University lecturer for more than 10 years and have published widely in many reputable academic journals such as Geo journal, African Identities and the Roundtable. She is a registered member of her professional body Historical Society of Nigeria (H.S.N) and a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and several other professional and academic bodies Before joining the teaching profession, she was a senior client service executive for seven years overseeing client requests.

Dr. Marvelous Aigbedion is the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership Studies at Bingham University. Ms Monica Alexander Ankeli

Monica Ankeli is a Deputy Registrar and the current Director, of Linkages and Transnational Education under the office of the Vice-Chancellor Bingham University. She started her university career as an Administrative Assistant and has over 18 years of work experience as a university administrator having worked in different divisions of the Registry as well as members of various committees. Biography:

Dr. Iguodala-Cole, Hope Imuetinyan holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial Sociology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka and a B.Sc. in Sociology, from Edo State University (Ekpoma) as well as a National Diploma in Social Work from the University of Benin, Edo State. She also has a Professional Diploma Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria and the Nigerian institute of training & development. She is currently a Lecturer in the department of Sociology, the Coordinator, Gender Studies Unit and the Chairman, Positive Behaviour Committee at Bingham University, Karu, Nigeria. She is a member of Professional bodies such as; Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM); Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association (NASA); Abuja Graduate School Advisory Council; Nigerian Institute of Training & Development (NITAD) and the Association of Business Development Professionals in Nigeria {ABDPIN). Professor Oluwasanumi Adedimeji Adepoju

Prof. Oluwasanumi Adedimeji Adepoju is a distinguished teacher, teacher educator, educational consultant, researcher, mentor, and a professor of Educational Research and Evaluation in the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education at the Gombe State University.

 

Adepoju has over 25 years of teaching experience at the secondary and university levels. His research interests span across a wide array of fields including but not limited to science education, teacher education, environmental education, ICT applications in Education and research, and gender Issues in education and development.

 

As a researcher and a teacher, he strongly holds the view that
1. Knowledge is not fragmented,
2. The teacher must be versatile- a moving encyclopedia and thus
3. The teacher must be morally bound to enter the classroom with the highest expectations of teaching his best!

Professor Ike Oluka is a professor of Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering. He has 21 years of experience as Professor and has held most administrative and academic positions in the university system including: Member, Governing Council of the university, Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies and Dean, Faculty of Engineering. Also, he held positions as Director and Head of Department as well as Chairman and Member of University Senate Committees. He served as Visiting Professor at Several Universities including McGill University, Canada, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, etc. as well as Adjunct Professor at Federal University of Technology, Owerri and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He has traveled widely and has attracted and established International Academic and Research Linkage from some globally rated universities including McGill University, Canada, Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom, and Beijing University of Technology, China.

Professor Oluka has presented an inaugural lecture. He is a Fellow, Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE); Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria; Fellow, African Scientific Institute (ASI), California, USA. He is a Member, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE); Member, Canadian Society of Bioengineering (CSBE)

and a COREN Registered Engineer. Is ranked in the “Who is who – NIAE Book of Achievements” in Agricultural Engineering Practice in Nigeria. He has been honoured with several academic prizes such as: Winner of the 2002 Doctoral Thesis Award” of the National Universities Commission, Federal Republic of Nigeria; Winner of the Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate School Prize, being the “THIRD BEST” graduating student in the University of Nigeria Nsukka in the year 1999/2000 session; Winner of the Vice-Chancellor’s Faculty Postgraduate Prize as the “BEST” graduating student of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nigeria in the year 1999/2000 Session; He has attracted Funds & Projects as well as local and international Research Grants:

 

He has supervised 11 PhDs and over 30 M.Eng. Students in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering. He has published over 130 Peer-reviewed scientific research Publications in journals, books, Inaugural lecture, technical reports, conference proceedings, chapters in books.

Oluchukwu Odikamnoro is a Research Assistant and Head Admissions Officer at the African Development Institute of Research Methodology ADIRM Enugu Nigeria. She has a Masters in Horticulture at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. She also has a BSc in Crop Production and Landscape Management, at Ebonyi State University, Nigeria.
